Sodium Naphthalene Sulfonate Formaldehyde Condensate(SNF-A)

Introduction:

Sodium Naphthalene Sulphonate Formaldehyde Condensate is Sodium salt of naphthalene sulfonate polymerized with formaldehyde, also called sodium naphthalene formaldehyde(SNF), poly naphthalene sulfonate formaldehyde(PNS), Naphthalene Sulphonate formaldehyde(NSF),naphthalene based high range water reducer, naphthalene superplasticizer.

Sodium naphthalene formaldehyde is a chemical synthesis of non-air-entertainment superplasticizer, which has a strong dispersibility on cement particles, thus produces concrete with high early and ultimate strength. As a high range water reducing admixture, sodium naphthalene formaldehyde has been widely used in prestress, precast, bridge, deck or any other concrete where it is desired to keep the water/cement ratio to a minimum but still achieve the degree of workability necessary to provide easy placement and consolidation.Sodium Naphthalene sulphonate formaldehdye can be added directly or after dissolved. It can be added during mixing or added directly to the freshly mixed concrete. The recommand dosage is 0.75-1.5% by weight of cement.

Indicators:

Items&Specifications SNF-A
Appearance Light Brown Powder
Solid Content ≥93%
Sodium Sulfate <5%
Chloride <0.3%
pH 7-9
Water Reduction 22-25%

Applications:

Construction:

1. Widely used in precast & ready-mixed concrete, armored concrete and pre-stressed reinforced concrete in key construction projects such as dam and port construction, road building & town planning projects and dwelling erections etc.

2. Suitable for preparation of early-strength, high-strength, high-anti-filtration and self sealing&pumpable concrete.

3. Used for and widely for self-cured, vapor-cured concrete and its formulations. At the early stage of application, extremely prominent effects are shown. As the result, the modulus and site utilization can be drastically, the procedure of vapor cure is omitted in peak heat summer days. Statistically 40-60 metric tons of coal will be preserved when a metric ton of the material is consumed.

4. Compatible with Portland cement, normal Portland cement, Portland slag cement, flyash cement and Portland pozzolanic cement etc.

Others:

Because of the high dispersion force and low foaming characteristics, SNF has also been widely used in other industries as Anionic Dispersing Agent.

Dispersing agent for disperse, vat, reactive and acid dyes, textile dying, wettable pesticide, paper, electroplating, rubber, water-soluble paint, pigments, oil drilling, water treatment, carbon black, etc.

Package&Storage:

Package: 40kg plastic bags with PP liner. Alternative package may be available upon request.

Storage: Shelf-life time is 2 years if kept in cool, dried place.Test should be done after expiration.
