Sodium Gluconate(SG-B) Introduction: Sodium Gluconate also called D-Gluconic Acid, Monosodium Salt is the sodium salt of gluconic acid and is produced by fermentation of glucose. It is a white granular, crystalline solid/powder which is very soluble in water,slightly soluble in alcohol, and insoluble in ether. Applications: 1.Construction Industry: Sodium gluconate is an efficient set retarder and a good plasticiser & water reducer for concrete, cement, mortar and gypsum.
